The first ever article that I wrote got published in an issue of the magazine ‘Caravan’ – waaaay back in 1986! Those were raw days, with no clutter of goals, leadership, outdoor education and government regulations for outdoors people… pure simple, unadulterated joy in hiking and climbing.
